The Pilgrim Roads to Santiago de Compostela discovery trail

Midi-Pyrénées is crossed by three pilgrim roads leading to Santiago de Compostela.

The pilgrim roads to Santiago de Compostela are listed as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. They provide hikers with a "different" way of experiencing their holidays. In combining walking and spirituality, the Pilgrim Roads to Santiago de Compostela are very much about communing both with oneself and the people met along the way.
Three roads pass through Midi-Pyrénées: the Chemin du Puy (via Podendis), the Chemin d'Arles (via Tolosana) and the Chemin du Piémont Pyrénéen.
