JAZZ IN MARCIAC

Located in the Gers, 50 Km southwest of Auch, Marciac has lived by and for jazz for nearly 30 years now. This 13th century bastide has acquired an international reputation with its festival Jazz in Marciac. Every year, for two weeks in August, Marciac brings together more than 170,000 visitors from all over Europe and the United States to celebrate with the biggest jazz stars. Known for its welcoming atmosphere, full of enthusiasm, spontaneity and shared passion, this event gives universal pleasure to spectators and musicians alike. All are made to feel at home and seem to fall under the rustic charm of this bastide, where the delights of foie gras and the white wines of the Côtes de Gascogne go so well with the other pleasures of life.
