What is an RSS feed?
What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a technology that enables you to access the content of websites and blogs without having to go to the sites themselves. You can for example automatically receive the list of the latest top tips published on this website in your web browser, using content aggregator software (RSS Reader for Windows, NetNewsWire for Mac OS X), or online (via Netvibes for example).
How do I use RSS?
With the Firefox browser it's really easy. From any page in the website, all you have to do is click on the little icon in the address bar to the right of where the page title is displayed. A list of available information feeds opens. Select one of these 'feeds' and it will be installed in the browser or online content aggregator of your choice.
You can also copy the links to the RSS feeds shown above and paste them into your favourite RSS reader.
Or you can use the buttons shown on this page.
